Spring Callout & First meeting of the Semester!

 Welcome back,
 Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break and that you're ready for this spring semester at Purdue! We are having our first meeting January 17, 2012, @ 6:30 in Grissom 280.  You can pay dues then if you are new to the club and we have lots of exciting events to talk about! Don't forget that there is always pizza too :) Hope you can make it!

Successful trick or treat :)

Thanks to everyone who helped with the trick or treat event! It was a great time for the kids and the decorations looked great! We'll definitely be doing this event next year and thanks for helping put on a successful event. Have a Happy Halloween everyone! :)

New Updates

Hello all! just a few reminders..

1. If you signed up to volunteer at the Crossroads conference, Martine has sent the powerpoint in an email with the volunteer times and some important info.

2. If you are a mentee and you have any questions, feel free to post on the blog and mentors can hopefully answer your questions or feel free to email your mentor.  

3. Our trick or treat event is next Saturday the 29 @ 2:00 in Heavilon in the speech clinic.  If you are on the trick or treat committee, be sure to check your email for some important info and don't forget that we are dressing up!

Trick or Treat Event

Our 1st annual fall trick or treat and crafts event will be on Saturday, October 29, 2-3:30 at the Speech and Hearing Clinic in Heavilon.  We will be decorating the clinic that afternoon before the event.  NSSLHA members will be passing out candy and helping the kids with the crafts too. Hope everyone can help and you can dress up too! :)

Mentor & Mentee Scavenger Hunt

Calling all mentors & mentees!
At our meeting on September 27 you will meet you mentor or mentee and you will be doing a scavenger hunt around Purdue together! This will be a fun time to get to know your person. Be sure to bring a camera to the meeting next Tuesday and we'll see you there! :) 

CALLOUT TOMORROW!

Hey everyone!
Our NSSLHA callout is tomorrow at 6:30 in Grissom 280! We'll be talking about what we do as a club and what we are all about! We will also be selling tshirts, hoodies, nalgenes and tote bags that we have left from last semester.  There will be pizza so be sure to make it out tomorrow night and see us :)

So I've been coming up with some ideas for socials that we can do this semester and I wanted to post some of the ideas and see if anyone else has any other ideas they would like to share on here! feel free to leave some comments too :)

• A scavenger hunt around Purdue (taking pictures with different Purdue traditions)

• Bowling or Milkshake night at Pappy's in the PMU

• Trick or Treating in Heavilon for the clinic kids
